Not everything needs a project. Sometimes you just need someone competent to pick up the problem, sort it, and explain what happened in language the rest of the business understands.
I started out as sole IT support for over 300 users across multiple sites, built that company's first proper helpdesk from scratch, and later matured a service desk around ITIL v4. That mix means I am as comfortable with a stuck laptop as with the process behind it.
What this covers
- Remote troubleshooting and user support
- Account, mailbox and access management
- New starter and leaver processes done consistently
- Escalation support for an existing in-house team
- Help building a helpdesk, knowledge base or documentation from scratch
- ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change process where you need structure
- Ad-hoc or light-touch ongoing cover, whichever suits
When this is the right fit
You have no dedicated IT person, your team needs occasional senior backup, or things keep getting fixed twice because nothing is written down.
What it costs
£85 per hour — two hour minimum, £450 per day.
That is a guide range, not a quote. You get a fixed price after a free 30-minute scoping call, and it does not move afterwards. I am not VAT registered, so there is no 20% to add on top. Full guide prices for every service are published openly.
How it works
A free 30-minute conversation first, so I understand the situation and you can judge whether I am the right person. Then a clear scope and a fixed quote or an hourly rate, agreed before anything starts. Work delivered, documented, and handed over.
Response times: within 2 hours during working hours, and never more than 24 hours.
