Hello — I’m Joe.
I am Head of IT for a multi-site group, and I take on a small number of consulting clients alongside it. That means no account manager, no rotating helpdesk, and no junior doing the work while a senior name sits on the proposal.
Eight years in IT, most of it in regulated legal and financial environments. When you call, you get me.

Good to know
How quickly will you respond?
Every enquiry gets a response within 24 hours maximum. Anything that arrives during working hours is usually answered within 2 hours. If it is urgent, call or WhatsApp me and I will do my best to jump straight on it.
What areas do you cover?
Remote support across the whole UK, and on-site around West Lancashire and the North West, including Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Wigan, Preston and Southport.
Do you work in regulated environments?
Yes. I have worked extensively in legal and financial settings, including FCA and SRA regulated firms, and within ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certified environments. I understand what auditors ask for and how to evidence it.
Can you review our current IT provider?
Yes, and it is one of the most useful things I do. I carry out independent assessments of environments, in-house teams and MSP contracts, and give you a straight view of what is working, what is not, and whether you are getting value for what you are paying.
Will you work alongside our existing IT team?
Happily. A lot of my work is supporting an in-house team rather than replacing it, whether that is extra capacity on a project, a second opinion on a design, or helping them implement something new.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Work is either pay-as-you-go, a fixed-price project, or a rolling monthly retainer you can cancel at any time. I do not do three-year managed service contracts.
What does it cost, and is there VAT on top?
Ad-hoc work is £85 an hour or £450 a day, and projects start at £750 with guide prices published on the pricing page. I am not VAT registered, so there is no 20% to add on top of any of it.
Do you only work with Microsoft?
Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune are my core, but I also cover networking, phone systems, CRM and general business IT. If it is business technology, ask me.
Is my data safe?
Yes. I only ever access your systems with your permission, and I follow good security practice on every job. Nothing is touched without you knowing.
Can you help outside business hours?
Some evening and weekend availability by arrangement, alongside standard weekday support. Migrations and cutovers are often best done out of hours anyway.
Ready to get it sorted?
Send a quick support request and I will come back to you, within 2 hours in working hours and always within 24.
